McMillan Coffee Morning 30th Sept

This year I am holding a McMillan Coffee Morning in remembrance of my niece Tracy Ryan and also for Bernard Mitton of Berties Rest, Hoe Road who both died earlier this year. Also to celebrate that fact that I have been cancer free for 10 years since my operation in 2007.

McMillan nurses do an absolutely wonderful job, caring for the people who have been diagnosed with this frightening illness and supporting their families and friends during this difficult time.

Homemade cakes welcome, any homemade crafts, jams, cards etc for sale would also be appreciated.

I would love for you to join us for tea/coffee and homemade cakes in the Village Hall on the 30th September 10 – 12pm; I will be charging a small entrance fee of £3 all monies will be given to McMillan. Sue Douglas

Help Needed

Exhibition in September - If I could please have the photos of your homes this month so we can start getting the exhibit together for September, I would be very grateful.

If you would like us to include your house, please dig out those photographs and contact me.  What we need is photos of your house, from the past or when it was being built, knowledge of the people that lived in your house?   With your permission we would like to take a copy of your photos to use on the map and if you have any further information we can use to make the display interesting we would be very grateful.

To contact me please ring me on 01362 687360 or email me on Thanks, Sue Douglas.
